In the unlikely event of failure, all laboratory work has a guarantee that generally carries a 3 – 5 year period. In addition to the laboratory guarantee, the dental clinic will reimburse your extra travel expenses*.

For crowns, bridge and veneer work, although rare, a further short trip may be required for adjustments and further minor polishing. Should the work prove to be faulty (not adjustments and polishing) then the clinic would reimburse your travel costs*.

Alternatively, in the case of small adjustments you can use a dentist in your own country and forward your bill to the dental clinic for reimbursement. The dental clinic has allowed a budget of 30 Euros for such repairs as re-cementing crowns, denture or partial denture adjustment.

The clinic is not liable for any unforeseen root canal treatment after having tooth/teeth prepared for crown & bridgework. Occasionally, teeth suffer preparation trauma during crown & bridgework treatment resulting in a need for a root canal treatment afterwards.

Guarantee will be reduced or invalidated:

• If oral hygiene is neglected
  
• If the dentists’ instructions are not followed
  
• If removable restoration such as partials dentures or full dentures are not kept and maintained properly
  
• If the patient does not visit a dentist for a routine check-up at least once a year
  
• If the gum tissue or teeth bone is naturally reducing
  
• Accidental damage, for example dropping dentures
  
• If there is a general sickness occurring that has negative effects on the dental condition (for example diabetes, epilepsy, osteoporosis, condition after x-rays or chemotherapy).
  
• If patient does not notify the clinic or Perfect Profiles prior to exercising their guarantee

*The reimbursement of travel expenses will be limited to £70 for air flights (including tax) and one night accommodation (of a similar standard to that previously booked).
