History

Hello, my name is Dr Endre Lantos and I am the proprietor of the Vital Center Dental Group in Hungary. As the largest established dental group in Budapest I am proud to inform you that my company, formed in 1995, has grown from a single dental clinic, based in the world famous hotel Danubius Health Spa Resort on Margaret Island, to having a further four practices in Budapest and one in Heviz. Margaret Island is an upmarket and prestigious area of central Budapest that attracts an affluent domestic client that includes celebrities and affluent businessmen from Budapest’s city district. Based in the international spa hotel helped us to become one of the first dental companies in Budapest to specialise in dentistry for overseas patients. The location and this mix of business has attracted Hungary’s best dentists to come and work with the Vital Center, now forming one of the best dental teams to be found in Hungary. The team offer a wide range of dental treatments to include periodontology, implantology, gnatology and cosmetic dentistry. In addition to their up to date facilities, the clinics use only the highest quality materials and all the work is covered by guarantee (see guarantee).

Clinics and Team

Please allow me to introduce my clinics and dental team. All of Vital’s dental clinics in Budapest have a central location. This can be a great advantage should your treatment require you visiting more than one of our specialists, as all clinics are only minutes drive between each location. However, most types of treatments are completed within one dental clinic as they all offer a wide range of dental services. Perfect Profiles will help advise and book appointments for you, based on which accommodation you are staying in and the dental specialisation required.

Vital Center Margaret Island

This is the Vital Center’s flagship and is located in the prestigious 4 star hotel Danubius Health Spa Resort Margaret Island. Here we can combine your treatments with a relaxing break taking advantage of Hungary’s natural thermal water resources. The clinic with its modern equipment performs a wide range of services. Maintenance, surgical, prosthetic and restorative treatments including implantation are available. We also have surgery facilities to offer general anaesthesia for our more nervous patients.

Dr Endre Lantos

Born in Budapest on the 6th of July in 1955. Two years after graduating from high school in 1975 he received his degree in dental mechanics and then worked as a tooth technician in the Central State Hospital technical laboratory for two years. In 1977 he passed into the Faculty of Dental Science of the Medical University of Szeged and he completed in 1982 with summa cum laude.
During the years at University with the supervision of Dr. András Fazekas he studied the dysfunction of the temporomandibular joint on a facultative course. In 1982, after graduating he became the employee of the Central State Hospital as general dentist. In 1984 he received his degree in tooth and mouth diseases. In 1989 he spent ten weeks on a professional journey in the United States studying implantology. In 1990 he became the manager of the dental clinic at the Thermal Hotel on the Margaret Island. In 1995 he established the Vital Center Health Centre that has widened into a network with six clinics.

Dr Gyorgy Peter

Born in 1978 in Veszprém, Hungary. He finished secondary school at the Lovassy László High School and then studied at the Semmelweis University (SOTE). Joined the Vital Center team on Margaret Island in 2001. He specialises in the problems of complicated teeth loss, and prosthetic dentistry particularly in cases that has involved loss by trauma. Dr Peter regularly participates in dental conferences and further training seminars, concerned with implantology, periodontology and modern prosthetic technologies.

Vital Center Fiesta

Although all the Vital’s clinics are central, this clinic is probably classed as the most central. Located in downtown Pest within the 3 star Hotel Fiesta, this is an excellent location close to Budapest’s restaurant and city nightlife. Under the leadership of Dr Gombos, the Vital Fiesta’s speciality is cosmetic dentistry, using veneers and crowns. General dentistry is also practised here and any further implantology work required is done by one of the implantologists based at MOM or Margaret Island. Teeth whitening, using the 40 minutes QuickWhite system, is also available here.

Dr Esther Gombos

Born in November 1967 Jánosháza, Hungary. Graduated at the Dental Faculty of the Semmelweis Medical University, Budapest in 1992. After graduating from University she worked at the dental clinic of a regional hospital. Here Dr Gombos had the possibility to work with both children and adults. She passed her final exam as an orthodontist in 1994 and has worked for the Vital Center since 1995. She has led the Vital Fiesta dental team since 2002. Her specialisation is general dentistry and cosmetic dentistry.

Agnes Zimmermann

Agnes runs Beauty-dent a partnership company within the Vital Fiesta. Adding an extra dimension to Dr Gombos’s aesthetic dentistry, Beauty-dent provides the accelerated teeth whitening system – QuickWhite. Agnes graduated on philosophy and psychology at the University of Düsseldorf. She then took a two years training course on wellness, anti-aging and lifestyle. She has visited several aesthetic training seminars in the US, Switzerland and Germany. She is a member of the German organisations Bundesverband der Zahnkosmetik and Gesellschaft der ästhetischen Zahnheilkund.

Vital Center MOM

This is the newest and largest clinic of the Vital Center group. It is located within one of the largest shopping malls in downtown Buda. It is fully equipped with the latest technology including digital panoramic x-ray machines. This clinic offers a wide range of dental treatments specialising in gnatology, implantology and orthodontology.

Dr Zoltan Ovari

After graduating in1992 at the Semmelwis Medical University, Budapest, Dr ovari has gained a vast amount of work experience and training, both within Hungary and abroad. 1992 – 93 a local dentistry of Budakalász, Hungary. 1993 – 97 R – Klinika , Budapest. 1997 – 99 Clinic Kloster Mallersdorf, Mallersdorf, Germany. 1999 Praxis Dr Teusch, Fürstenfeldbruck, Germany and has been with Vital Center since the end of 1999. Dr Ovari’s specialisation in dentistry is the area of gnathology.

Vital Center Helia

Located in Danubius’s second spa hotel in Budapest, Health Spa Resort Helia. This clinic offers a wide range of dental services that can be combined with a spa break.

Dr Magdolna Kemenes

Between 1972 and 1974 Dr Kemenes was an assistant at the Dental Clinic department of the Medical University of Szeged. In 1979 she graduated at the Medical University of Szeged. From 1979 – 81 she worked in Vilshofen, Germany as a general dentist and ran her own practise I Aholming, Germany until 2000. She has been head dentist at the Vital Helia since 2002. Dr Kemenes specialises in Prosthetic and aesthetic dentistry.

She speaks English, and fluent German

Our latest introduction of Vital Center’s clinics is Heviz. It is worth noting that Ryanair is the only flight from the UK servicing Hungary from Stansted. This flight is from stansted to Sarmelek which services Lake Balaton and Lake Heviz.

Vital Center Heviz

This is the only Vital clinic situated outside Budapest. Lake Heviz is the largest thermal lake found in Central Europe and is now one of the world’s favourite spa resorts. The Vital Center Heviz is located within the Health Spa Resort Heviz. Lake Balaton is also close by and we can combine your dental treatment with a holiday or break to either Balaton or Heviz. The modern clinic offers a full range of dental services. Implants can be done by one of Vital’s implantologists, who visit the clinic at least once a week and can certainly arrange a visit around your scheduled appointments.

Dr Babicsák Bence

Born in 1976 in Kolozsvár, Transylvania he graduated at the Medical University of Pécs in 2001. He practised general dentistry with Vital Center in Budapest and finished his specialisation exams in endodontistry, dental surgeon and jaw therapeutics in 2004. He has been head dentist at Vital Heviz since 2004. He is a regular participant of courses and seminars that concern implantology, aesthetic dentistry and innovative technical developments of dental treatments.

Dr Réfi Adrienn

Born in Keszthely, Hungary in 1975. She graduated at the Medical University of Pécs in 2001. She practised general dentistry at Vital Center Margaret Island and finished her specialisation exams in endodontistry, dental surgeon and jaw therapeutics in 2004. She joined Dr Bence at Vital Heviz in 2004.
